You've Taken the First Step
If you're here, there's a good chance you're asking one of life's biggest questions:
"How can I know God?"
The incredible news is that God is already reaching out to you. He knows you, He loves you, and He wants a relationship with you. No matter what your past looks like, no matter what mistakes you've made, Jesus invites you to come to Him just as you are.
"Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."

Why Do We Need Jesus?
The Bible tells us that every one of us has sinned. We've all fallen short of God's perfect standard. Sin separates us from God, but God didn't leave us there.
Because He loves us, He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for our sins and rise from the dead three days later. Jesus took the punishment we deserved so we could receive forgiveness, new life, and eternal life with Him.
"But God demonstrates His own love for us in this:
While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
— Romans 5:8
Because He loves us, He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for our sins and rise from the dead three days later. Jesus took the punishment we deserved so we could receive forgiveness, new life, and eternal life with Him.

What Does It Mean to Follow Jesus?
Following Jesus isn't about becoming perfect.
It's about beginning a relationship with Him.
When you place your faith in Jesus:
-Your sins are forgiven.
-You become a child of God.
-God gives you a new heart.
-The Holy Spirit comes to live within you.
-You begin a lifelong journey of growing to know Him.
"If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come."
— 2 Corinthians 5:17
It's about beginning a relationship with Him.
When you place your faith in Jesus:

How Can I Be Saved?
The Bible says salvation is a gift.
It isn't earned by being good enough or trying harder.
It comes by placing your faith in Jesus Christ.
The Bible teaches us to:
- Admit that we have sinned.
- Believe that Jesus died and rose again for us.
- Turn from our old life and follow Him.
- Confess Jesus as Lord.
"If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."
— Romans 10:9

A Prayer of Commitment
There are no magic words that save us. God looks at our hearts.
If you're ready to trust Jesus, you can pray something like this:
Jesus, I know that I have sinned and that I need Your forgiveness.
I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and rose again so that I could have new life. Today I turn away from my old life and place my trust in You.
Be my Savior and my Lord. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Teach me to follow You every day. Thank You for loving me, forgiving me, and making me Your child.
In Jesus' name,
