21 Day Fast Day 20

One of my favorite prayers in scripture is found in Acts 4. It was prayed after Peter and John were arrested for healing a lame man and proclaiming Jesus’ resurrection.
They were threatened, commanded not to speak or teach in the name of Jesus and were released..

The church prayed…

“And now, Lord, look upon their threats and grant to your servants to continue to speak your word with all boldness, while you stretch out your hand to heal, and signs and wonders are performed through the name of your holy servant Jesus.” And when they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭4‬:‭29‬-‭31‬ ‭ESV‬‬

As we come close to the end of this fast let’s pray for boldness and for God to stretch out his hand with signs and wonders through the name of  Jesus.

In Ephesians 1 Paul prays:
“having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great might that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places,”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭1‬:‭18‬-‭20‬ ‭ESV‬‬

The same power that raised Jesus from the dead lives in us. Let’s live that way!
Let’s make these prayers our prayers today as we continue to seek God and humble ourselves before him
