21 Day Fast Day 14
Wow! Today marks 2 weeks of prayer and fasting together! How awesome is that?! It is so honoring to God and life changing for us . As we fix our eyes on Jesus, re-surrender our lives to him and renew our hunger for him he is changing us by the power of his Spirit and his love.
A couple of days ago we dug into psalm 100 that closes with celebrating God's steadfast love and faithfulness that lasts FOREVER. Throughout all the generations of history as we look through the word we see God's love, mercy, patience, kindness and grace at work in the lives of normal imperfect people that put their faith in him. I love Romans 4:3 where it says “For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness.””

We have good reason to believe God today! When we look at Abraham we see that his belief in God resulted in obedience to and action upon God's word and God's promise. We know and see now that God's promise to Abraham was fulfilled and still being fulfilled as all nations are coming to faith in Jesus. That he became a great nation and that all people are being blessed by him. “By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to a place that he was to receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going. By faith he went to live in the land of promise, as in a foreign land, living in tents with Isaac and Jacob, heirs with him of the same promise.”
Hebrews 11:8-9 ESV
As we reflect on God’s faithfulness and look to the promises in his word let’s ask him what he would have us do in 2026. Maybe he is already speaking to you about the plans he has for you this year. Maybe he is pointing out areas that he wants you to surrender. Maybe he is showing you the people he purposefully placed in your life to share his love and truth with.
Let’s allow our faith and the boldness that comes from the Holy Spirit to result in obedience and action TODAY!
