21 Day Fast Day 11
As we fast, pray and seek the heart of God, today let’s start with praise and gratitude for who He is and all He’s done.
Psalm 100 contains 5 verses of power that set the tone for high praise to the one and only God.
“Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing! Know that the Lord, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.”
Psalm 100:1-5 ESV
In these verses our gladness, singing, praise, thanksgiving and joyful noise come from knowing God and understanding that we are His.
Some of his praiseworthy characteristics are listed.
-He is GOOD!
-His steadfast faithful love endures!!
That is worthy of some joyful shouts of praise that bless His name!
Philippians 4:4-7 ESV says:
“Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Let’s understand today that the Lord is NEAR. Because of this we do not need to be afraid!
Let’s boldly bring our praise into the presence of the King today. We can bring our prayers and concerns and we have a promise that as we do, His peace will guard our hearts and minds in Christ!
Bless His Name!
