21 Day Fast Day 2
As we settle into our fast let's be intentional about drawing close to God.
James 4:7-8 says:
“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.”
Fasting is such a noticeable way to submit to God and resist the urges of the world. It is cleansing physically and spiritually. Let’s invite God to purify our hearts and minds as we set them on Him during this fasting period. The awesome part is that we are doing this together! This brings a unity that is pleasing to God!
Our prayer focus with our brothers and sisters around the state today is praying for our National Leaders. Let’s believe for revival in the White House!
Draw close and touch the heart of God today and be filled with the Holy Spirit!
